Mountainbike Youth in Billund Cykelmotion

Our regular training is held from March/April – November. During the cold season, we invite you to join us for a few trips.

MTB Youth training sessions

Riding MTB should be both fun and challenging. There is a committed community with room for everyone regardless of level. There should be sweat on your forehead and a smile on your face.

Bicycle helmets are mandatory. The name and phone number of parents must be written on the helmet.

It is important to remember a water bottle with water and possibly a banana, fruit bar or similar, so you don’t run out of energy. It is a good idea to eat rye bread/whole grain bread and drink 1-2 glasses of water an hour before training. It takes a lot of energy to be active and learn new tricks.

We divide into different groups and explore the surrounding area – both in and outside Billund. Our starting point is Kærhusvej 4, 7190 Billund and from there we move out into the forest, on paths and around the city on stairs and other fun places.

Youth training at BICM

In BICM Youth, the focus is on ensuring that all children and young people have a good experience of cycling MTB together.

What equipment should I have

The bike

To ensure a good experience for everyone, it is required that the MTB is in good condition with well-functioning brakes, gears, bell and lights when it gets dark.

What to wear

Our only requirement is that you choose comfortable cycling or sports clothing suitable for the weather conditions.

What is the pace?

We split up into different groups and go exploring around Billund and beyond.

In this way, we make sure that young people of all ages and levels can join in and have fun.

Useful information

Always bring the following, whether it’s for training or a race.

  • Helmet
  • Weather-appropriate clothes
  • Water bottle
  • Banana, fruit bars or similar
  • A positive attitude

Road bike

We train in different groups so that all can have fun at their individual level.

MTB & Youth

We offer year-round MTB training for all ages, with groups for adults (16+ years old) as well as children (7+ years old).

Races & Trips

We organize local MTB races and tours throughout the year and travel to participate in various races across the country.
