MTB training for kids and youths


On the BICM junior team we focus on having great MTB experiences together! It should be fun and challenging to mountain bike. All ages are welcome regardless of ability.


Our goal is for the kids to have both sweat on their backs and smiles on their faces. When training we start and finish at Billund Idrætscenter. From there we split up into groups and venture out, exploring forests, trails, and neighborhoods, both in and outside of Billund. Anywhere we can find fun and challenging obstacles to play on.


In order for everyone to have a good time, members should have a well maintained mountain bike. This includes: good brakes, a bell, and lights when it is dark. Additionally, a bike helmet is an absolute must. Parent’s name and phone number should be written inside the helmet. It is important to remember a water bottle and a small snack, such as a banana or granola bar just in case.


We strongly recommend the kids have a high-fiber and protein filled snack such as muesli or whole wheat bread and two glasses of water an hour prior to training. It requires a lot of energy to be active and enjoy learning new tricks.

We train: Monday 17.00 - 18.30 (sometimes a little later) Thursday 16.15 - 17.45 Fees: 300kr per season Trainers: Jakob, Jan, Lars, Leah, Ole, Jannie and interested parents.
